[ Elijah was more nervous than he thought he could be. He wasn’t sure what he had expected when he’d agreed to this, but the nervousness wasn’t it. That was what took him so long to get there, he’d had to calm himself. ]

[ After a bit, he’d headed into the woods towards their spot. Thankfully, the moment he saw her waiting there, all doubts went out of his head. He wanted this, and he wanted her to want this. And judging by her presence, she did. Although, he never would have complained if she hadn’t come. That aside, he couldn’t help the smile that appeared when she turned to face him, and he leaned against the tree trunk beside him before speaking. ]

“Hello, my love.”

[ At first, Tatia couldn’t deny that she was afraid he wouldn’t show—that came with the deep rooted fear of being rejected. Part of that was because she always thought of herself as tainted and knew many other people did too. ]

[ She wore her white dressing gown underneath her cloak and bundled herself into it tighter as it was much colder in the cave. Unable to help herself, she smiled as soon as he greeted her, especially with the term of endearment. One of the things she adored about him was how sweet he could be, not to mention how patient he had been with her these past months they had spent together. Within seconds, she was taking the steps necessary to greet him with a sweet kiss, her hands resting on his cheeks. ]

“I am happy to see you, thank you for meeting me.”
