[ It was nice to spend time with the one that he loved and he loved Tatia more than he could ever begin to explain to her. She was his everything and they had been through so much together that he was certain nothing could ever tear them apart. They were Tatia and Elijah. Even when the two of them were humans they had managed to make it through everything. That meant perhaps spending time away from all of the dramatic antics that seemed to find him where he went. ❝I am glad.❞ Elijah looked over at her briefly before turning his eyes back to the road. ❝Mystic Falls just isn’t…❞ he trailed off. While he would be happy with her anywhere in the world he certainly didn’t enjoy the small town.

[ Tatia was thrilled that Elijah had been able to make her first Valentine’s day so perfect and she wasn’t sure if he would be able to top this one. Then again, this was Elijah and he had the tenancy to surprise her more often than not. It had been nice to have such a peaceful weekend with no problems, just relaxing and enjoying quality time together. She honestly hadn’t given much thought to the idea of living somewhere else as she had always lived in Mystic Falls. Not to mention, she never had the option of living somewhere else but the idea sounded wonderful. ]

❝It isn’t home anymore?❞ She tried to finish his sentence, hoping to catch on to what he was thinking. ❝I would love to go somewhere else. This is the only place I have seen other than our trip this weekend.❞
