<sub>New troubles enter the town as Katherine Pierce finally makes an appearance in Mystic Falls, which causes everyone’s world to be flipped upside down. Elena learns of her doppelganger, and the sun of the moon curse. While new enemies emerge, Caroline finds herself in a new lifestyle. Elena learns just how powerful the Petrova bloodline is and just how many more supernaturals can enter a town unexpectedly.

Season three opens up plenty of new faces, and new dangers all around the gang in Mystic Falls. Now with Stefan as Klaus’ new partner in crime, and finding out secrets of their past, everyone is on their toes for what could happen next. There is ghosts returning from Jeremy’s past after he is brought back from the dead.</sub>
