The Reunion // Rebekah & Tatia

To say she was stunned, was a minor statement.  It had been so long since she had see Tatia, and yet it felt like yesterday.  So long since they had shared any time together.  They had been best friends once.  Even when her brothers fought over her, she was still her friend.  She knew that she held onto a piece of that over the years, but seeing her here now, was a huge surprise to her.

“You have a way about you.  A way that the doppelgangers do not.  Too long, my dear friend.  Way too long.”

[ Having been hesitant and skeptical of the way this meeting might turn out, Tatia had prepared for the worst. Instead, it seemed that Rebekah was happy to see her and she couldn’t help but to smile brightly at her old friend. What a long time it had been yet she hadn’t changed at all, just as pretty as she had always been. Surely she was different though, having seen things one wouldn’t be able to imagine. She was beyond thankful that she didn’t hold grudges, at least not toward her anyway. ]

“I am glad you still remember me and know me so well. You are correct, it has been far too long, old friend. I have missed you.”
