[ The idea of having another face like Katherine’s running around didn’t make Damon happy. They had both broken his heart more than two times over. He wasn’t this whole thing to be over. Though he had to concede that she was still her own person and it seemed the one that started all this. So technically…the other two had Tatia’s face. He sighed and walked into the parlor, grabbing a blanket off the edge of the couch and wrapping it around her shoulders. So much for the heartless vampire he tried to be. ]
“Well that just leaves you and I very confused, doesn’t it?”
[ Damon tried to offer her a smile, though his mind was swimming. He needed to re-group…think on what he had just discovered. ] “Yeah, well I’m having a wonderful night, though you should probably go upstairs and get out of all that into something warmer. So follow me. [ With that the elder Salvatore turned on his heel and walked towards the stairs. ]
[ This had to be weird to this man, she thought to herself, letting a stranger that looked like someone he knew stay in his house. Regardless, she was thankful to him because she knew he could have easily slammed the door in her face. Still, she couldn’t stay here forever; she needed to find somewhere else to stay and figure out so much about this modern world and why she had returned. A soft smile lined her lips when he generously wrapped a blanket around her, pulling it tighter to her body. ]
“Thank you very much.” [ She had desperately needed the warmth and soon enough, she stopped shivering so violently. ]
“Okay, again thank you for everything. I know this must be strange for you. What is your name, by the way, if you do not mind my asking?” [ She tried to keep a conversation going as he led her up the stairs and down the hall into a guest room. It was huge and decorated nicely, a gasp leaving her lips upon seeing it. ]
