[ Damon knew that this face was going to haunt him forever and suddenly he could sympathize with others, though not long to care very much about them. Damon would help Tatia, but anyone else tonight would probably be out of luck. He couldn’t deny that he felt a little better after seeing that she wasn’t going to freeze to death. He really had to stop being the ‘good brother’ he thought bitterly, Stefan would not be happy about having his favorite position stolen. ]

“You are welcome” [ Caring too much was going to be a problem for him, he needed to start thinking clearly. ]

“You have no idea, though I wouldn’t be surprised if ten more of you pop up. Oh I’m Damon Salvatore, I’m sure the pleasure is all mine” [ He offered her a smile and opened the door to the ensuite. ] “You can have a bath in there and and I’ll get you some clothes, they’ll be far too big but Elena can you get something else later” [ He turned back with a shrug, unsure of what else to say…ideas cooking in his head. ]

[ Tatia found herself wondering how this man knew Elena and what part he played in her life, if he knew her well. Was he aware of vampires and doppelgangers? What about witches, originals, and the other side? There were so many things she wished to ask him, but she also did not want to be rude or prying by any means. He owed her no answers, if anything it was the other way around. Another thing she wondered is how long she would be able to stay here with him, and if he would help her learn things about the modern and supernatural world. ]

“Ten more? I thought there were only three of us? Katerina, Elena and myself, yes?” [ She asked him, very confused by his words and not quite understanding of sarcasm. ] “Oh, I have heard of you. A pleasure to meet you, Mr. Salvatore.” [ Being polite was something she could not help, and something she prided herself on, all of this said with a sweet smile. She had heard of him on her time on the other side, understanding that he was a vampire and had been in love with both of her doppelgangers at one time. ]

“Wait!” [ She wanted to stop him before he left and she cleaned herself up. ] “Do you mind if we talk after I clean up? There are many things I am curious about, and I am sure you have questions for me as well.
